I was inspired by a brewery out of Washington called Chuckanut that focuses on a lot of German Style Lagers. I've been reading a lot about them and listening to podcasts by their founder. While Lagers aren't as common in the craft beer scene, they are terrific when done the right way. Chuckanut's effort hasn't gone un-noticed as their Vienna has placed in the past 2 GABF's. Let's hope Five Mile can have similar lagering success!
